Wise-ness

I like wise people. They make the world less stupid, although for the most part, many of these wise people are actually just speaking common sense.

It’s not easy to find books written by wise people anymore. As one of my friends says; too much of the stuff out there is actually just re-packaged. It takes wisdom to think up real and new stuff.

We are often blown away by words of wisdom. Mind-blasting. Blasting. And if you think about it, wisdom is mind-blasting not because it’s deep. It blasts our minds, because it is true. Everybody has been blown away by wisdom before, and hence each one of us has encountered truth. I think; it is right to some extent to say that we construct our own truths. But the man who says that there is no truth is lying to himself.

I like wise people. They blast my mind.
